The Barn four-bed rooms that allow for small groups to have their own privacy or they are a good fit for explorers and those looking to meet new friends and create awesome memories.
Our dorms are clean rooms with linen and heaters provided!
If you are interested in having large groups stay in our dorms then let us know and we can look to get you all in the same room or rooms beside each other.
We have bookings for solo travellers through to weddings, parties, corporate events and girls’ weekends away.

What's Going on at The Barn?
Co-working Space
A free space for guests to use to work and meet like minded people. Also available for meetings and private uses on request.
Great Communal Areas
The Barn’s communal areas include 2 kitchens and dining rooms, as well as three blocks of showers and toilets. Get comfy for some flicks in our communal Movie Room for those dark and rainy nights. Else it’s time to cook up a meal around the outdoor fire and watch the awesome night skies roll past. A photographer’s dream night sky.
However, the best bit is the outdoor facilities. Soccer goal, outdoor fires, table tennis, volleyball, and just a nice natural setting amongst the Native plantings.

Welcome to Scotty’s Baguettes, Marahau’s first online food business, nestled in the stunning Abel Tasman National Park. We specialise in gourmet baguettes, offering a range of options including Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free (GFA), and kid-friendly choices.
Helpful Things At The Barn
A few things that we offer to help make your experience away go as smooth as possible.
Bag Storage
When you Book to stay at The Barn, we have FREE Bag storage available. BYO lock, or buy one at our shop. First come first serve.
Car Parking
The Barn has on site car parking. We are just a 100m from the start of the Abel Tasman Track. Arranged onsite.
Yoga Class
Stretch those limbs out and re-center yourself. Expected yoga classes to begin in November. TBC. First Come First Serve.
Bike Parking
We have paid cover parking in our shed, or free bike racks to tie up to while you’re out in The Park.
