Accomodation Options

The Barn is perfectly suited for group bookings and private functions. We regularly host schools, touring groups, family reunions, weddings, corporate team building, strategy sessions, environmental, yoga retreats and many other special interest groups.

Having a range of accommodation options means that we can easily suit your group’s preferences and budgets. From self contained houses to dorm rooms there is something for everyone.

Being the sunniest region of New Zealand makes for great camping. Easy to get large groups in and usually pretty good conditions.

Book the Whole Venue for weddings or Family Reunions

Depending on the type of event that you are looking to hold, we may ask that you book the whole venue out. This is usually for large events that maybe not suit having other guests there, such as weddings or parties. We can accomodate 90 indoors and more camping.

Prices will vary on this and we encourage these sort of bookings outside of the busier summer period.

The Loft

Meeting room & co work space

Great spot to have a meeting, holding up to 10 people in there. Must book ahead as it is also used as a co working space.

Welcome to Scotty’s Baguettes, Marahau’s first online food business, nestled in the stunning Abel Tasman National Park. We specialise in gourmet baguettes, offering a range of options including Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free (GFA), and kid-friendly choices.

We have light food and snacks available to help any event go smoothly. If you are in need of full catering, we can arrange it with the local cafe/restaurant/bar just 100m down the road.

We also have an off-license for some local craft beer and wine. Nelson has a growing range of crafts and we love to support them from out here in The Abel Tasman. You are more than welcome to bring your own supplies other light refreshments.

We are experts at organising together trips for small groups and can customise a trip for your larger groups.
